Please note that it is important to maintain the correct salinity level in your aquarium. A saltwater aquarium should have a specific gravity of approximately 1.025 for marine fish and invertebrates to thrive in the environment . This translates to about 35 grams of salt per gallon or 5 tablespoons of aquarium-grade sea salt mix per each US gallon (3.785 liters) of water.
